tribeca . the band

We don't want any history. We want to play in the belief that that this is the first time for each and one of us. We all have a past in music, but, it feels more beautiful this way. Like the first kiss and the first love story. We feel that we are the greatest band alive today, in most ways and in all shapes. Of course that's what all band should feel. We started up in February 1999 and in the beginning we were only two, then we were three and four and then we were five. And then, there will be no more.We were thinking of taking real cool artist names just for fun, but that's harder than you could imagine. So for no one we are, as usual, claes.1, lasse.2, jon.3, erik.4 and per.5.
number 1. plays the keyboards, does all the programming and a whole bunch of other things.
number 2. formed the band with number 1, and he sings and plays the guitar. he also writes the songs.
number 3. plays the drums, and does it so good that we all are impressed.
number 4. plays the other guitar, the little more complicated stuff.
numer 5. well he just plays the bas, the heart and soul of this band.
The idea of tribeca is somehow to do all those things that we haven't come around doing since we were teenagers. For various reasons. But to make musicas clean and pure and sweet and painful and real as it felt then. The intention have never been to have fun. It's been to be great.
