Scrooge McDuck
Scrooge McDuck was originally created for comic books in 1947 by Disney Legend Carl Barks. He was a popular comic character, moving from "guest duck" status in the Donald Duck and Walt Disney's Comics and Stories comic books to his own magazine in 1952.
Scrooge McDuck's next screen appearance after Scrooge McDuck and Money was as Ebenezer Scrooge in the 1983 featurette Mickey's Christmas Carol. Uncle Scrooge was named after the famous Charles Dickens character. Alan Young, best known for TV's Mr. Ed, has been Scrooge's voice since 1983.
