SKIING

Skiing in a beautiful day with -10°C in the morning and almost zero degree's C in the evening and several stops during the day is a highlight. It could be a calm day with nice views or a tour over frozen highlands together with friends and blueberry soup. Skiing is a way to be together. Winter Universiades have offered me possibilities to meet people from other countries and learn other countries. Latest international skiing was Masters in Park City 2001 the year before the Olympic games in Salt Lake 2002. Right picture showing me with same skiis and poles as left picture. I am lucky to have friends which gaved me a piece of good advice before "Vasaloppet". I used only heavy skiis and poles before 1995 like equipment for alpine skiing. Now I using same soft and nice skiis, poles and gloves in the Swedish mountains as "Vasaloppet".

I also like long-distance skate. Ordinary it´s a lot of possibilities of long-distance skate on the lake Mälaren or in the archipelago of Stockholm..
