It's two years between every Universiade. An Universiade is like Olympic games where you must be Student to participate. Japan got Olympic games just after arrange of Universiades. It was just before the Votations . I met the chief of the Japanese Olympic committee in a lift in Sofia 1989 and later in Sapporo 1991.
