Hamsters
My name is Marie and I'm 14 years old. Beside the horses I just love hamsters and rats. I had a hamster called Daisen and a rat, in Swedish it's called a "Kinesisk takråtta" and that's a big "house- rat". In English I think it's could be something like "Chinese roof- rat". The
hamster
is a cute and sweet little animal, but it can be a little bit angry from time to
time. They prefer to be lonely and you should never put two of them in the same
cage, if you dont won't to breed on them.
If you put them together they will fight until one of them are dead. Instead,
you could have two of them in different cages.
The hamsters give themselves exercise. If you would you can
let them outside, but, just as a warning: they could be very fast and
could hide in every possible and impossible places.
Many hamsters seems to think that electric cords are nice food.
Sometime you may need to cut its claws and teeth. You
shouldn't bath them, they can catch a cold very easily
The hamster eats seeds and fruits and you should give them a
piece of meat sometimes.
A hamster don't live so long, just about a year.
