My name is Björn and I'm a 26-year old artist from Gothenburg, Sweden. I've been painting, sketching, sculpting, creating contemporary art (at least some of it) since as long as I can remember. Nowadays I limit myself to oil paintings. I express myself with much color and extreme surrealistic motives. Each work of art has their own soul, emotion and message. They speak for themselves. Artists I admire and who are inspirational to me are for instance Tamara de Lempicka, Dali, Roy Lichtenstein and THE favorite one of them all; Picasso. I hate to say but in my opinion much of his work is crap (sorry Picasso) and very much overestimated. But he has made "some" real jems and the fact that he dedicated his whole life to his art is the reason I adore this God of creation. I often wish I could expand my creating in terms of distorting and disfiguring the way he did. But, unfortunately, I'm much too modest and too much of a perfectionist for that. It's a pity.

Another icon that I believe has mould me to what I am to day is the cartoon character Barbapapa. Annette Tison and Talus  Taylor, I love You both!
