SVIAB - Svensk Vindkraft Industri AB

	SVIAB works with development, production and sales of small wind turbines. We have our main office at Vettershaga, south of the city Norrtälje, 50 km north-east of Stockholm, Sweden. Over the years we have delivered a large number of windpower systems to projects in many different countries. Because of the high reliability and quality of VK240, our customers are mostly professional users, such as maritime administrations of several countries, military, and different kinds of surveillance establishments, etc. The company was founded by Eric Wikberg in 1978 and serial production of VK240 began four years later. In 1987 a license agreement was signed with CAMC, China National Constructional and Agricultural Machinery Export and Import Corporation, regarding license production of VK240 in a factory in Shandu, Inner Mongolia. The agreement means, among other things, that SVIAB is responsible for the marketing and sales on the international market.
