      But lets take it from the beginning

      When I was born in 1955 a raw and chilly November day, the midwife thought there was something wrong with my hands, both hands were clenched like fists. She could hardly open them and finally she succeed. In one hand was her wedding ring and in the other was the birth control pill, and after that day I knew I was to be a magician.

      My father , who is famous in Denmark. LAPINELLI, the magician, had been a magician since he was 12 years old. When I was 6 years old I would follow him to his performances. This was my first lessons in magic. You see to be a magician it doesn't just mean to perform it means so much more. In order to understand you must practice several times a week on each trick. Anyone who has tried to learn one single trick knows that it isn't enough just to learn it partially because if is always discovered. You have to learn it properly, it's almost like riding a bike you never forget how but you are not a professional . To become a professional magician you have to practice, practice, practice and with a repertoire of 250 to 300 tricks it means a lot of practice time a week. I performed with my father for about 5 to 6 years and even had my own performances for children's birthday parties and when school ended for the summer.

      When I was 14 or 15 years old, I discovered that there was a difference between boys and girls. My interests for girls became bigger then my interest for magic but after a few years I understood that magic was to fun to quit so I continued with my magic.

      I have done many performances in Norway, England, Germany, France and Spain.

      At the age of 25, I moved to Sweden. During the move all my requisites disappeared. For a few years I didn't practice magic because of the language barrier but a hockey trainer asked me to perform for his team. I collected some props, a newspaper, some rope, a deck of cards and a few other things. My performance was a success.

      The next 6 months I performed for free, but under the conditions that there would always be a journalist and a photographer present. I think that was the best and cheapest PR I could ever have.

      One year later I had 25 payed performances. I performed all over the South of Sweden. One year I had 60 performances in one month in an adventure park something like Disneyland. I even had a 4 week turn in Greece where I performed in a restaurant.

      My repertoire still increases and each year for the past ten years I have been on a "magic weekend" in Lund in South Sweden. It is a big arrangement where magicians from the whole North of Europe meet to entertain and to learn new tricks. Just think 3 days on the "Star Hotel", 400 magicians that makes for a lot of tricks!
