John Bryne

There are many fans of Marvel Comics that whould agree with me on that John Bryne is Marvel's best artist ever and some of you might not agree. but no matter what you think John Bryne have had an enormus impact on the comic industry since the mid-70s. This man have laid his hands on almost every Marvel character ever created. From the Fantastic Four to the X-Men.

John Bryne was born in Walsall, England in 1950. When he was eight years old his family emigrated to Canada and moved around the country so much that Bryne attended to nine different schools in eleven years. Finally the family found a place to settle down in Calgary and John attended to Alberta Collage of Art. He completed two and a half year of a four year course in Fine Arts. Bryne and his teachers didn't get along very well cause Bryne wished to a "cartoonist" insteed of a Fine Arts artist. And in 1975 he began to work for Charlton Comics, and eventually moving on to both Marvel and DC Comics, where he has worked on virtually every character owned by both companies, most notably Fantastic Four and Superman.
It was John's work on the X-Men that eventually got the fans to notice his greatness. And from the X-Men he moved on to Captain America, The Avengers and a five year run with Marvel's bestselling title the Fantastic Four.
Seeking now heights to conquer John accepted an offer from DC Comics in 1986 to revamping the oldest and most famous of all superheroes, Superman. John successed and brought the Man of Steel back to the attention of the fans.
During the 1990s John Bryne had done several works for both Marvel and DC Comics. Most notable of his works for Marvel during this time is X-Men: The Hidden Years, and for DC Wonder Woman. John Bryne currently lives in Connecticut.
