Objectives

Our goal is that students take an active part in and responsability for their work in a problemsolving, interdisciplinary way with students of other nationalities. We consider our mutual environment suitable for studies from an intenational point of view; an area that can involve many subjects taught in school, including science, civic studies and foreign languages.

Teachers from the participating countries will meet in order to work together and share experiences regarding cooperation and team-teaching. Lectures and seminars on the European dimension of different subjects, active learning and IT-technique will be offered. We are focusing on the difference in learning between boys and girls and on students with special needs. International cooperation, communication and exchanges will reduce some of the disadvantages that rural schools have in relation to urban schools.

    Important goals:

    • Develop a global thinking and a readiness for local action on environmental problems in line with the ideas of Agenda 21.
    • Stimulate transnational cooperation among teachers and students.
    • Stimulate interdisciplinary views on teaching.
    • Strengthen the European dimension and the bonds between nations in Europe.
    • Introduce an innovating approach to studies where individual responsability and conclusions are stressed.
    • Offer a training seminar for EU teachers
