mail meHi my name is Anthony Curry. Friends call me Tony.
I was born in Liverpool England 1947, moved to Gothenburg
Sweden Dec. 1968. I have settled down well in Gothenburg which has
the same social structure as Liverpool. I started work at Lindholmens
shipyard Jan. 1969 and stayed there till the yard was closed down in
1986 then moved to Gotaverkens City shipyard and ended my career
in the shipyards 1988. I now work for a Gothenburg company that make
the worlds best ball and roller bearings, SKF. During my time in the
shipyards I was involved in the metalworkers union as a shopsteward
mainly for safety-health legislation`s. Working as a shopsteward aroused
my intrests for political engagment, with my background from a working
class family it was an easy decisision to choose Socialdemokraterna
(labour). Most of my sparetime is devoted to political work, I also hold
some municipal engagements, city councillor and chairman in the
district council of Bergsjon. Other interests are motoring (I drive a
Volvo, drive a 2CV in the sommer) and Photography. Please get in touch if you have any questions.
