The reason as to why 'Lilly' felt it was necessary to make a new channel on IRCnet was that there we're too many OPs in other channels that were acting like they owned the channels. We believe that the fewer the rules the more fun and interesting the channel. The rules we have are only to protect the channel from people who wish to do harm. Our main enforcer is the bot 'Sunshine'. Here is the listing of the do's and don'ts when you are talking in channel #happy.

1. Golden Rule, do not beg for ops.
2. Do not flood the channel or any of it's members.
3. Do make an effort to speak. 'Idlers' will be subject to kicking.
4. Do not worry be #happy! :)
