In the beginning there was Star Trek. When Captain Kirk and his crew flew boldy where no man had gone before. When Spock spoke volumes by just raising his left eyebrown, and Bones was a doctor, not a hairdresser. And not to forget Scotty, always telling Kirk that Enterprise would blow, but yet always managed to find the extra 10% of warp when it was needed
Yepp, those were the days. The glorious, innocent days. And many with me agrees that though the new Star Trek shows have much better special effects, sometimes better scripts (and sometime far worse), there's no way that those could be any better than the original.
