Dark Forces 2 - Jedi Knight, the long awaited sequel to Dark Forces will hit the shelves in the first quarter of '97 and the game is full of new cool features and a relly intriguing storyline.

The story is about Kyle Katarn who on a quest with his past unravels the mystical ways of the Jedi. Here he learns that he must stop seven dark jedi knights from unleashing the great powers of a Jedi burial ground. In this quest he must also confront his own dark past and he must make the tough decision of choosing the light or the dark side of the force.

Kyle's foe are Jerec, the dark jedi knight who leads the six others in a dangerous quest for ultimate evil and supreme power. Among Jerec's followers are Boc, a jedi who fights with two lightsabers making him a real nasty one. The second one, Seriss is strong in both the physical and mental areas of the force. Maw is hateful and doesn't value human life, Gorc and Pic, one a eight foot monster and the other one's only 4 feet tall and the best part is - There Twins!

The last of the dark jedi's are Yun who is the youngest. He is cocky and eager to prove himself worth to the dark side of the force.

The weapons featured in DF2 are the same as in Dark Forces, but there's a new exciting weapon to use and that is the good old lightsaber. Now players can wield their sabers agains the enemies and combined with the usage of the force this new feature will definetly be a serious one.

Good news is that Dark Forces 2 will be network compatible so now you can link computers together and blow your friend to smithereens (YES!). You can play up to eight persons in three different battlemodes. Total Combat, Team Combat and Territory Combat.
