1983 came the third and final episode of the Star Wars saga. In Return of the Jedi Luke return to the desert planet of Tatooine to rescue Han Solo from the firm grip of Jabba the Hut. Later Luke & co. saves the galaxy with them furry little ewoks. ROTJ had really good effects that even today looks very good.
Return of the Jedi contains like the other parts in the trilogy really good
special effects. What you can see from these fine screenshots are that the geniuses at ILM has been busy creating the new effects for the films. From left to right:
1. The new look of Sarlaac, now with a wormlike head. 2. The celebration scene at Corusant. This was unbelieveble to watch on the big screen. 3. Another celebration scene at Corusant. 4. Sy Snootles and the Max Rebo Band got new bandmembers. 5. The celebration scene at Mos Eisley. This one was also awesome! 6. This is one of the new singers in the band. Personally I didn't like this one at all.
