What is a Swedish Auhtorized Translator?

A Swedish authorized translator is equivalent to a sworn translator in other countries. He or she has passed a test administered by the Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency and is legally entitled to certify translations. The test is very demanding, with a pass rate of only 10%.
