Currently working at the regional head office of Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (S-E-Banken) in Gothenburg, Sweden, I am now looking ahead to the next step in my career. At present I am an account manager for small and medium sized companies. However, from the beginning of 1998, I will be assisting two senior account managers, in order to learn more about larger companies and eventually manage these accounts myself.

S-E-Banken will, after its imminent merger with the insurance company Trygg-Hansa, be one of the largest financial institutions in Scandinavia. However, as my interest lies in working with international companies, I may still have to leave my present employment with them. It then seems logical to focus on the capital of international banking, i.e. London. London is also a city where I would like to live. 1998 is the year I see myself moving there, having found employment to which I can dedicate my skills and enthusiasm, and which can give me the opportunity I am seeking.

Having been in the heat of the action at one of the largest offices of S-E-Banken in Sweden for over three years, I find it only natural to look for the same degree, or more, of intensity in my next position. I am looking for greater responsibility, initially in working with larger clients and later in a managerial role.

Further experience in both technical and service-related professions has given me a good understanding of a wide range of business. I have always taken on much responsibility above and beyond my work. All of this I am ready to offer to a future employer.

Banking today is about serving clients in a world of changes. This gives me a chance to use my creativity, combined with practicality and commitment, be it in the context of working in groups, alone at the office or with a client, or representing the bank at an Internet fair.
