Timeline/Biograph
1971 Tupac Amaru
Shakur is born in Brooklyn, New York. At the present
time his mother Afeni Shakur sat in jail.
1983 Tupac makes his
first movie, Raising in the Sun.
1985 Tupac moves, with
his mother, to Baltimore in Maryland. Tupac begins
in High School for the Performing Arts, where he
also participates in
several school shows.
1988 Tupac and his
mother moves to Marin City, California. Tupac jumps
of his studing and insted he starts to hang out with
"the wrong" gang, and he
starts dealing drugs. Tupac is called The Infamous MC
New York when he
first comes to Marin City.
1990 Tupac gets a work
as a dancer at Digital Underground.
1991 Tupac makes his
first song, with Digital Underground, called
Same Song on the album This is an EP Release.
Tupac stars in his first
movie this year with Digital Underground, he
plays a rapper in Nothing
But Trouble. The same year Tupac is given a big
role in the movie Juice,
and he releases his first soloalbum with the name 2Pacalypse
Now
(released in November).
1992 Ronald Ray
Howard, 19, shoots a cop and Howards lawyer claims
that Howard was inspired by 2Pacalypse Now
wich were in his car stereo.
(This was big news in the media and 2Pac was, again,
pointed out as a
criminal. Something that never was told in the media was
that Howard didnt
own a tape with 2Pac, but why should they say that?)
In 22:nd August Tupac is involved in a fight with a gang
from Marin City,
a gun go off and a 6 year old girl is killed. Tupac's
half-brother, Maurice
Harding, is arrested for the murder but he's
later released due the lack of
evidence.
The following month , September, the vice president Dan
Quayle goes out
in public and says that the album 2Pacalypse Now has
no place in the
society.
1993 Tupac
plays against Janet Jackson in the movie Poetic
Justice. In
February 2Pac releases his 2:nd album Strictly
4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z, which
goes platinum. Tupac is nominated at
the American Music Award as the
best newcomer in the rap/hip-hop genre. 13th
March Tupac gets in a fight
with a limo driver that accuses him to using drugs
in the car. No charges are
made. In April Tupac is back in the court and this
time for swinging a
baseball bat against another rapper during a
concert. This time Tupac is
sentenced to 10 days in prison. 31:st October
Tupac is in the court for the
third time this year, and this time is accused for
firing at two off-duty polices. The charges are dropped.
Tupac’s last visit in the court, this year, happens
a month after
the previous one. This time it’s a 19 year
old girl that accuses Tupac and
three of his friends for raping her.
1994 The 10th March
Tupac goes to jail for 15 days after that he had
beaten down Allen Hughes, and this because she
had denied him a role in
the movie Menace II Society. In September two
teenagers murder a police
officer and they say that they've got the inspiration
from Tupac's song
Souljah's Story. The 30th November Tupac is shot 5
times
(two in the head) and at the same time they take jewelery
for $40,000 that
Tupac had on him. The robbery was commited at the
recordstudio Times Squarerecording studio in
Manhattan, but the case is not solved yet. Tupac
wrote him self out from the hospital after a 3hrs
operation.
The rapecharges that Tupac got against him in 1993 now
results in jail for
1,5 to 4,5 years. Tupac gets out from jail 8 month later,
14th February 1995
. While Tupac was in jail he was allowed to star in the
basketball movie
Above The Rim. Under the same period that he
sits in jail he also stars in
Bullet with Mickey Rourke. With his own
created group Thug Life
(now The Outlaws) he records the album Thug Life
Volume 1.
1995 While Tupac was
in jail he was working on the album Me Against
The World, later released in April. The album
sold in over 2 millions ex. and
the album got the No 1 place on the lists. One month
later Tupac gets
married with Keisha Morris and in October Tupac
leaves the jail after that
Suge Knight have paid the bail on 1,4 million
dollars. Tupac signs a
contract with Death Row and starts to work with
his fourth album, All
Eyez On Me.
1996 All Eyez On
Me is released and goes up to the No 1 place. The
album is the first double album (2 cd's) in HipHop/Rap
history. The album
has now sold in more then 6 millions ex. At the Soul
Train award in Los
Angeles Death Row crew and Bad Boy crew
gets in a fight wich ends after
that a gun goes off (nobody gets hit). The 4th September
Tupac gets in a
fight at the MTV Music Awards. Three days after,
7th September, Tupac is
shot in a car after that he's been on a fight with Mike
Tyson. Tupac is
operated twice before he dies. Tupac is announced dead at
04:30 the 13th
September. The album Makaveli - the don killuminati -
the 7 day theory
is released after his death in November.
1997 The movies Gridlock'd
and Gang Related, with Tupac, are released
on the cinemas.
