Feedback & Bugrapport

If (when) you find bugs or details in Probe, which you think could be improved, please let us hear from you.

To analyze bugs, it's important to receive detailed information on the situation where the bug occured. If the program crash, a dialog displaying source code file and line number appears. This is valuable information.

Things to think about in a bug report:

• The Beta version number of Probe. You'll find it under the 'Help' menu, menuitem 'About Probe'.
• OS Version. Windows 95/NT. The DOS command 'ver' gives you exact version info.
• Bug symptom. Crash? Did the program hang? Did a command have an unexpected effect? Incorrect screen updates? Low performance?
• The steps needed to repeat the bug. If it's hard to repeat the bug, then a description of the situation leading up to it.

Suggestions on improvements, lacking functionality etc, are welcome.
