Seemless Shell Integration
- Under Windows 95/98/NT, many important objects and services, such as
Control Panel Applets, Printers, Recycle Bins, etc, are available in Shell
Folders. A shell folder can be said to be any folder that not primarily contains
files, but rather presents some sort of service.
- With Probe, all such folders are browsed and accessed as easily as
any other folder. When one navigates to a shell-folder, Probe creates the approriate
OLE-object, and merges this object into the active frame of Probe.

- A convenient way to transfer data between applications is Drag &
Drop and the Windows Clipboard.
- Probe fully supports both Drag & Drop and the Windows Clipboard.
You may drag files from other applications and drop in a Folder Browser or Tree Browser in
Probe, or alternatively, drag files from Probe and drop onto some other application, or
the Desktop.
