The Scandinavian Pipe Band Championships have been held again In Holbæk, Denmark. For various reasons, MPD did not compete as a band, but we had some success in a joint venture with Helsinki Pipes & Drums from Finland. You can read more about SPBC-99 here.

After the Band Meeting at 11/10, the board now consists of:
Sven Axelsson (Chairman), Mats d Hermansson (Treasurer), Marie Nordström (Secretary), Ingemar Landén, and Jessica Karlsson.
It was decided that a magazine will be published, containing the latest and greatest scandals and gossip in the piping world. Martin Rudolfsson was appointed as editor of this yet unnamed magazine. It will also be available on this site, so be sure to check back regularly!
