Piping and Drumming School

The Murray Pipes & Drums gives courses in piping and drumming to beginners. Those who are successful are invited to join the band. We have two of the most experienced teachers in Scandinavia; P/M Mats d Hermansson, piping and D/S Marie Nordström, bass and tenor drums. We also have contacts with the best side drum teachers in Scandinavia.

P/M Mats d Hermansson and P/S Sven Axelsson are adding the final touches to our new piping tutor which will aid to set every beginner straight right from the start.

Also avaliable soon will be The Murray Pipes & Drums Standard Settings of Pipe Music. This eminent publication will contain all the tunes on our A repertoire, i.e. the tunes that every band member is supposed to know.

D/S Marie Nordström is busying herself with the tenor drumming tutor that will break new ground in teaching feathering and flourishing.
