January 01: Luminous beings are gathering again and plans for the second Mutant album are currently discussed, after the recording of the third Theory In Practice album we shall join forces again under the banner of MUTANT! Thanks for your support. No news about the new website I`m afraid, we`ll stick with the one for now.

August 00: Greetings mortals. This news page will be updated when something interesting has happened with the band which may be more or less often than once a month. We have been informed that Cronos of Venom is a fan Mutant which is, needless to say, very cool! It can be read in Scream Magazine`s latest issue. A guy has offered to do an improved version of the Mutant site which is an honour to us since he doesn`t demand payment or anything. We`ll send him material and check out the result, if it looks better than our current site we`ll accept him as webmaster and the address will change. More about that later.

May 00: Henrik and Peter are for the moment abductees by another force, they are being improved to better suit the purpose of the Aeonic majesty. The time of ascension is yet uncertain.

April 00: O.K, the first leg of interviews has been finished for Mutant, now we will await the results of it. We`ve received great reviews by a lot of magazines and a lot of interviewers are really anxious for Mutant to become "more than a project". We shall see what the future brings…death to those who defy our majesty.

March 00: "The Aeonic Majesty" is out! And it looks so great, words are not enough. Just looking at it makes you want to listen to it. I`ve done numerous interviews for magazines and radiostations and they all seem to be really excited by the album, the reviews we`ve seen so far has also been fantastic. New subscribers for Metallian mag. are lucky enough to be able to choose the Mutant debut as a free CD when receiving the first copy of the mag. They also get a Mutant poster regardless of what CD they choose. And there`s other cool things like that aswell, of course.Mutant has begun to infest the earth.

February 00: The album is being pressed in England right now, those who live in France will be able to get hold of it really soon while the rest of the world has to wait a bit until all the promo`s has been sent out by Listenable records. Mutant has featured in a number of magazines lately, mainly in France, and we`ve also been on numerous CD-compilations. Keep your unholy eyes open! Mutant is making way for invasion on earth!!!

January 00: Year zero has begun. January has passed and the album isn`t out yet despite the fact that the ads in the magazines said it would be out by now. How come? Plans got fucked up, simple as that. For specific reasons mail mr. Merle at: listenable.records@libertysurf.fr
The aeonic forces of the great vast infinity are watching and they are not pleased.
We can only try to convince them that the album will be out by the end of February and that their enthronement shall soon be achieved. Go and vote for your favourite Mutant song right here on this site, if you choose "they all suck" you will be abducted and tortured at the edge of eternity. 

December 99: Listenable records has started to promote the album and the ads looks killer! Indeed very tempting for any metal-fan true to his art. The song "The Majestic Twelve" will appear on some magazine compilations, an appetizer you just cannot overlook! I must once again tell you that the artwork of the CD-booklet is something that will practically sell on its own...
it is priceless.

November 99: Everything is finished regarding our debut "The Aeonic Majesty". Unfortunately we`ll have to wait until next year before we release it because of the fact that it`s meaningless to release an album at this time of the year, but next year we will make way for the higher developed races to take over this planet. The aeonic ones will burn all your truths to ashes!
Since everything is ready the CD will hit the stores in January.

October 99: So what was done this month? Well, we shot some new dark photos for the album. Our Polish artist Tom has confirmed that the artwork for Mutant will be finished a week after a deal between him and Listenable records has been settled...whatever that means... Anyway, we`ve seen the actual cover `cause that one is basically finished and it looks killer to say the least!
Expect this evil release in February next year.

September 99:  A sigh of relief is what MUTANT felt when Laurent of Listenable records explained that he loved the album, there were no limits to his praising! The higher developed races must have blessed us through our constant declaration of their supremacy...
Now we`re planning to do some photo-shooting (under the influence of non-divine liquid), then we`ll just sit back and wait for the release of our debut CD "The Aeonic Majesty". 

August 99:  On-line again. The MUTANT debut album has been mixed and mastered and will be sent to the Listenable office anyday now, artwork will be done by some Polish artist who`s done stuff for Vader among others. Digital Apocalypse will also contribute with some cool pictures.
The release is planned to take place in January 2000, then the Black Metal revolution will occur and no one will deny the existence of species from outer space anylonger.
Every established religion will die!!!

June 99: The recording of our debut album has been finished and only mixing and mastering remains. However, one track off the album has been mixed for an upcoming Listenable records compilation CD called "Sound Crusher" to be released in August. We have chosen a new track called "The Majestic Twelve" to be featured on the compilation and it will give you a good hint of what`s to expect from the full length.

May 99:  We have started recording what will be Mutant`s crushing debut album and our first bandphotos has been shot, they can be viewed in Listenable records´ upcoming newsletter. We`re planning to press some more copies of the highly appreciated "Eden Burnt to Ashes"-demo CD because of the overwhelming good critics. If you find the soundclips on this site interesting order the demo and listen to it while you wait for the album to come out. Pure alien terror!!!

April 99:  Due to a minor delay we will start recording at the end of May and continue to do so in  the absence of light during the warmest months of the summer. The debut CD will contain nine songs of infinite darkness and abductional despair, easily crushing anything that tries to compete. The artwork has been selected and bandphotos will be taken during May. The release date is speculated to be set sometime in October 1999. 

March 99: Almost all the material for the debut-CD has been finished and we`re looking forward to start recording at the end of next month. The album is at the moment planned to contain ten songs and the artwork will be done by Digital Apocalypse. The first band photos will be taken as soon as we have booked time at the photo studio we used for Theory In Practice`s latest photo-session. We`re also trying to set up a live line-up for upcoming shows.  

February 99:    This month a tough decision was made. After receving huge interest from Necropolis records, Listenable records and N.A.P (and some other vague answers) we decided to go for Laurent Merle`s Listenable records. The debut album will be recorded with unlimited time (more or less) starting in a month or so, release-date is not decided but sometime at the beginning of Winter would be accurate to say. Song-writing is highly in the works and album concept is being planned as well, something truly remarkable is about to be born............ 

January 99: The response has been overwhelming, the "Eden Burnt to Ashes"-demo CD proved to be a real hit. We`re currently negotiating deals with Listenable records from France and Nocturnal Art Productions from Norway, the debut album will be recorded in early summer 1999.

December 98: When this year of misery came to an end, the powers of darkness made one final and ultimate assault upon the dying corpse of christianity. The five-track CD "Eden Burnt to Ashes" was released.
