In the beginning of the millennium 2000 Maria still stayed at home taking care of the children. Elias, as was born in August 15'Th -99, was five months and seemed to be a boy who wanted to have his own way, as his brothers Samuel and Josef.
We met the spring at Öckerö, where Jan was born, and stayed for three weeks in April. During those weeks we went to animal parks and to Denmark. During the spring Jans dad, Dan-Åke, fall ill in cancer. He fast became very week and died July 21'Th, just seven weeks after he had got the diagnose. This autumn, in august Maria went back to work in the Christian school Oasis and Jan has rent an office to go on developing more musicteachingmaterial. We work four days a week each and the boys are at the children-minders, Siv, three days every week. Samuel is five years old now and the constructor in our family. He is very interested of letters and numbers. Josef, as is three and a half-year now, is the social boy in the family as care about everybody around. He often helps to do housekeeping and charm all the people around. The one-year-old Elias is the most stubborn of them all. He does not hesitate to attack his older brothers when they obstruct him. He also likes to climb chairs and tables, so he really holds his parents warm.

Jan was a part time
student, studying computer programming. He also went on developing more wind-band
material for pupils learning how to play wind instrument. The political
engagement still is a lot, partly as the chairman of the Culture and Sport
department in the community and partly as a member of the Community board.
Maria went on
developing "Mias Mathematics world" with more games and tests. Now the whole
material is to buy at a publishing firm. The Chairman of the District for
the Christdemocratic party is a title as was added in march and has meant
a lot of idealistic work but also a lot of good experiences.
We will celebrate Christmas and New Year in Timrå together
with Marias family and we are looking forward to be a part of new happenings
during a new year.
