This office is controlled by the legislation “ The social service act”. At this office you can get support and help. The social worker who works at this office always try to work together with their clients to find a solution to their problems. In some cases it can of course be a question of forced care, then the social office has to make an application to the border. We have two laws in Sweden, which are used to force clients into care, LVM and LVU. In this district the cases which maybe be concerned with forced care are mostly children and youths that needs to be placed out-side their families, because the child’s home environment is not safe. According to Swedish legislation a young person can be forced into care also because of his or hers own destructive behaviour. There are journals kept over all the clients that seek economical or other kinds of support.
