One of TOT's most controversial albums, here they've replaced the piano with keyboards
only and Raymond has stopped doing his death growl, they've also decreased the heaviness.
Now most people think this is too "pop-ish" to be good, but I dunno really what they're
arguing about. They still have the guitars and the metal riffs, so what's the big deal?! There's more female vocals here
than on the previous ones but that element never prevented them from being good. This doesn't
mean that Raymond isn't still there or something, he just started singing with his own voice
instead, although I had nothing against him doing the growling.
In fact, to me this is their best effort to date, that Liv Kristine is taking over more
and more here is a brilliant thing which makes this one of the most beautiful albums in my
possession. All tracks are great, this sort of thing was the thing I was missing on the first
two albums. Buy, now.
