Whoah I dunno if I'm worthy of writing this review, this is one of the most classic metal
albums ever and it's the debut from the makers of metal themselves, that's right Black
Sabbath.
It's pure heavy metal of course, although it's a lot more blues influenced than the
later New Wave Of British Heavy Metal would be. Tony Iommi is perhaps one of the
greatest guitarists the world has ever seen, his style is quite unique and the riffs
he create.. well if you complain about them there must be something wrong in your brain.
He also does a lot of lengthy soloing here like in "The warning" which is a cover.
When it comes to the other members, well Ozzy isn't quite the greatest vocalist I've heard
although I've got nothing whatsoever against him his style fits perfect to this heavy sound.
And Geezer Butler, in today's metal bands you hardly notice the bass playing but in Sabbath
it always shines through very well it's like you hear every single tone Geezer takes.
To that Bill Ward does some excellent drumming, perhaps not one of the most skilled drummers
ever but you really should take a listen to his beats every now and then.
If you haven't heard this yet shame on you. If you have and didn't like it well what can
I say, then you cannot be a metal fan as simple as that. Cause being a metal fan and saying
you don't like Sabbath is like saying you're christian and don't believe in God.
