Latest ass-kicker from US trashers Machine Head, and it has evolved a lot from the previous albums.
It's still very aggressive metal, but now closer to hip-hop/hardcore acts like Korn, Limp Bizkit etc.
But metal fans don't be scared cause it stands miles above such crap, MH does the real thing -
pure aggression combined with real talent. Robb Flynn still has a very aggressive tone
on his voice, although he does a lot of clean vox here, more than on "The more things change"
and it's just great - sometimes that style of his can be compared to american grunge bands
such as Stone Temple Pilots among others.
Most of the tracks here are great, even "Desire to fire" & "From this day" which both
feature a bit of rap vocals.
The best part is tracks 2-8 but I recommend you to check out the whole thing.
