    Rating:
Strangely enough, on this one Dream Theater took a step into the mainstream, at least the first tracks (especially track 2) really leave you wondering: what the hell is this? They're not horribly bad but they're so different they're almost commercial.
But don't you worry now, that's only like the first 3 tracks the rest is downright brilliant, Dream Theater just as they should be *phew*, "Hollow years" is a wonderful ballad, and "Burning my soul" belongs with DT's heaviest songs ever.
The greatness doesn't stop either, the rest of the album is some of the most excellent prog metal you can imagine, although it's a bit different you must have this. Another great DT album as simple as that.
