British Paradise Lost keeps on progressing, after "Gothic" this is disappointing, but
not really bad in any way. It's melodic metal, pretty slow, dark & heavy just as "Gothic"
but a bit more boring. The tracks are longer these days and they've added some acoustic
guitars here and there.
The vocals are a little better I've to say, Mr Holmes has begun
to do the death-ish stuff in a more natural way, the vocal part on this one is
like a hybrid between "Gothic" and the later "Icon".
There's a lot of great riffs and solos on this album but it's like something is missing, cause
it doesn't quite get there. But do buy this if you're a fan of PL I'm sure you'll appreciate
it at least a bit.
