    Rating:
"Songs from the wood" is one of Tull's better albums and in style it's a bit similar to the previous ones but still not. It has a slightly "happier" feeling, lots of influences from celtic and folk music (ok they always had that but here it's so much more obvious), as usual many odd instruments and great flute playing by Anderson, whose voice never should get any complaints. Probably the easiest Tull album to get into. As many others of their albums, this one too is a definite must-have.
