Lefay: S.O.S.

Band members: Doesn't say but I guess it's the same line-up as on "Symphony of the damned". |

New album from Lefay (again?), perhaps Sweden's best power metal band ever,
and this time it's actually heavier than ever before,
it sounds more like old Morgana Lefay here.
Lots of great tracks here like "Save our souls", "Sleepwalker",
"What dreams forbode", "When gargoyles fly" among others.
Great album but in my opinion it's far from the masterpiece
"The seventh seal", mainly because this sounds too repeating,
for example in "What dreams forbode" they re-used a phrase from an old
Morgana Lefay song, - "We are one and I am them all" - remember that one?
Yeah I know it's from ML's "Rumours of rain".
Also "Epicedium", the beginning of that song feels a bit too much Morgana Lefay
to be a totally 'new' track.
Ok I may be complaining too much, this is a great album every serious fan
of decent metal should be owning this along with the other Lefay cd's.
