With Sida as the promoter, a human knowledge
network could be formed. Hence, this paper is a call
for interest with the purpose to bring together Swedish/Scandinavian
leaders in the field of computer games development.
The call is based on the assumptions that, in Sweden/Scandinavia:
- a sufficient amount of belief exist in the potential
of computer games for learning and in computer games
ability as a key educational tool,
- a sufficient number of researchers and industry
leaders are prepared to seriously tackle the issue
of computer games for learning, and that
- such undertaking would develop into a format that
could include collaboration with developing countries
based on a mutual interest for international development
and social evolution.
This website has been set up to gather some further
information on the computer games for learning
issue. Please provide your thoughts and reflections
on this initiative for one of the most amazing prospective
tool for human education.
