This is my own 10-string model of Mandola. It is constructed to be in line with my other bordoune instruments and is tuned in a "modal open G":

                     a1-a1-d1-d1-g-g-d-d-G-G

I´m now learning to play some tunes on the Mandola:  the traditional slängpolska, some Celtic influences and my own compositions. I also use it for accompaniments with modal chords from the open G and upwards.
