MRL sells two kinds of carbontubes for HLG fuselages. This lightweight version is recommended as a fuselage for indoor Cat. IV HLG's and I can see why.
830 mm long and taper from 7,1 - 4,1 mm. A bit larger then Ronytube's carbontube. The weight is 6 gram and if I continue to compare with Ronytube and decrease the size to the same the weight is 3,5 gram which is 0,5-1 gram lighter then Ronytube. The surface is smooth and very good looking. The stiffness is much better then the Ronytube. To make it short, this is the very best tube I've ever seen!
The only thing that's not that good is the prize, $18! If you can afford the luxury to use the very best, do it! If you don't have the money, use Ronytube. If that's too expensive, use wood and struggle with twisted or broken fuselages. Buy it from MRL.
