Hop & Malt Varieties: Halcyon Malted Barley, Styrian Goldings
and English Target Hops. Serving Suggestion: Great with English cheeses and savoury dishes. Serving Temperature: Serve at 10-12°C. Tasting Notes: Tawny Ale is full bodied with complex flavours and rich hoppy aromas complemented by a subtle bitter sweetness. 1999 Vintage: Barley crop excellent and we were able to secure the best of the variety. Slovenian and UK Hops were of a very good standard. The Ushers Vintages Ales Collection is a range of three bottled ales brewed to perfection by the Ushers brewmaster with all the care and skill of a winemaker.By using the very best malted barley and hops from each season's harvest, we hope to create uniqueness in each year's brew. The date is therefore added to the label so that you will be able to recognise the qualities of each year. The three Vintage Ales in the collection are White, Tawny and Ruby and they bridge the gap between traditional ales and wine, having been created to complement a wide range of food at home. Also, like wines, they are a delight to drink on their own. | ||
