| Flasktext: Many a story has been told and many a book written about the "Lancashire Witches" of Pendle Hill near Burnley. The area is steeped in the mystique of brewing potions and witchcraft. In 1612, after ten local people were hanged for practising witchcraft, the words "Witches Brew" were whispered with bated breath. In modern times, potions and the occult have been replaced by a new Pendle Witches Brew, noted for its traditional strength and full flavour. Moorhouses Brewery are ensuring that the tradition lives on with their own kind of magic. | ||
