Another family origins from the farm Winala in the parish of Sköllersta, in the county of Närke, and starts with the tanner Nils Larsson-Windahl born in 1752.
Later he lived in the parish of Asker in the same county.

From the same farm there is also one branch starting with the farrier Olof Larsson Windahl, who later became master in the town of Norrköping.
Several of his sons and greatsons became pharmacists, e.g. in the towns of Mönsterås in the county of Småland and in Karlshamn in the county of Blekinge.
