Saab 900 Cabriolet 1987

1983 visades Saab 900 Cabriolet på bilsalongen i Frankfurt - som en prototyp för att testa publiksmaken. Intresset var så stort att det togs beslut om serieproduktion. Senvåren 1986 levererades de första seriebyggda Saab 900 Cabriolet i USA. Hösten samma år, som 1987 års modell, introducerades bilen på övriga marknader. Den har samma tekniska specefikationer som Saab 900 Turbo 16.

In 1983 the Saab 900 Convertible had its premiere at the Frankfurt Motor Show - as a prototype to test public reactions. The car aroused such interest that it was soon decided to take it into produktion. The first series-built Saab 900 Convertible was delivered in the USA in late spring of 1986. In the autumm of that same year - as a 1987 model - the car was introduced on other markets. Its specifications are the same as the 900 turbo 16.
