Saab 96 1980
Den 8 januari 1980 tog en epok slut- då byggdes den allra sista saab 96 hos Saab-Valmet i finska Nystad. Då var det 20 år sedan Saab 96 introducerades och 30år sedan den första Saab 92 med den typiska profilen kom ut på vägarna. Den sista 96:an kördes från Nystad till Saabs museum av Erik Carlsson. Totalt tillverkades 730607 bilar av modelen 92, 93 och 96.
An era ended on the 8th of january 1980, when
the very last Saab 96 rolled off the production line at Saab
´-Valmet in the finnish city of Nystad. The Saab 96 was
introduced 20 years earlier, and it was 30 years after the first
Saab 92 with its typical profile rolled onto the highways. The
last 96 was driven from Nystad to the museum by Erik Carlsson. A
total of 730607 Saab 92, 93 and 96 cars were manufactured.
