Staffan Olsson Knöös  never returned from Russia  to his wife in Sweden. The same
suffering in every war trough history. Whe can only speculate about Staffans thoughts and feelings through all this years in  Russia.
At the very moment when I visit his little crofters holding I felt restless all over.
Pictures in my inner self from 1701 when he took farewell from wife and children and
leaving all behind  were very present at that time.
Indeed I saw everything from Knöstad to Poltava and other coming years for them who
Staffan whithout very good reasons left behind.
