With all the constant changes in DVD releases, this page is just a quick reminder of the more current DVD releases that have arrived at the store.  In addition I will list the major features of the DVDs.Just in case you are new to the wonderful world of audio/video abbreviations, here's a list:

W/S= WideScreen format, the picture has those black bars around it and is actually "More" picture in most circumstances.

Full: The way most VHS films are displayed. The orginal 35mm print cannot be shown on a normal square TV set, so the film is cropped to fit the screen.  This can be minor or major depending on the film and how it was filmed.

16.9 Enhanced= If you have a oddly shaped TV, wider than taller, some DVDs are made to make full use of that extra screen size.

Audio: DD= Dolby Digital.....DS=Dolby Stereo....DDS=Dolby Digital Surround....

          DDS 5.1= AC3, which doesn't exsist anymore, its just 5.1 DDS.

          DTS: The other 5.1 surround format, it appears that the DTS DVDs are all going to have DD 5.1

          audio.

I carry only Region 1 DVD, some are code free, therefore they are in English and I list the OTHER languages that are available or subtitles. Films made outside the US, ie: France, will show French language w/ English subtitles.
