Eneryda Volley is putting a lot of effort into both indoor volleyball and beachvolley. In Indoor volley, we have 1 men team, 2 ladies team, 1 boys varsity team, 1 girls Varsity, one girls up to 15 team, and several volley 2000 teams.
The men A-team is playing in the first division for the third consequtive year. This year has been good for the A-team so far and they are aiming for the upper part of the table. Eneryda have had the luck of not losing any player for this year which makes us very confident since everybody have played a lot of games together.
The ladies A-team is playing yet another year in the second division, meanwhile the B-team is playing in the fourth division. In the A-team, Eneryda Volleys Ida Henriksson has come back from a volleyball high school and two years in the junior national team, they have also got some new player from the junior team. The ladies team have not only gained player though, they have also lost Pernilla Carlsson to Ljungby, that playes in the highest league(Elitserien). We wish her good luck!!
Enerydas lady team has a really strong team this year and are hoping to win the league. This is a reasonable goal and they have won all games except one this far. We all hope that they will win league and advance to div. 1, don't we??
Eneryda have decided to put a lot of effort into the new way of playing volleyball which is called Volley 2000. Volley 2000 is very much like normal volleyball, the main difference is that the ball is allowed to bounce once on each side of the net. This new kind of volleyball have been a big success here in Älmhult and also in the whole region since it results in more action and longer plays.
