Wood and earth are the oldest and most tested building materials. From an environmental point of view an impregnation of wood,earth
and clay is the best.

It is good to have wood inside and outside because it can be produced locally. Tiles which are made from burntclay are also a good environmental choice.

Chipboard is also a good alternative for indoorwalls as it is bound together with its own fixing agent (lignin).

Solid woodfloor are also nice to walk on,but watch out for tropical wood. Every year enormous areals of tropical rainforest are destroyed.

Pigment colours can be used for roagh boards for exampel Pigmentcolour (Swedish) it is cheap and simple.

Limecolours on a plaster surface layer is cheap an simple.

Eggoilcolours are a mix of egg,oil and water and colourpigment. It is suitable for both inside walls and outside windowsframes.
