Ventilation in old houses is often better as it is not so airtight. In new houses it is important to have good ventilation. You should let fresh air in often in winter but only for a short period. Ventilators for incoming air should be found in all rooms but not in the kitchen, washroom or bathroom. As the humid air is drown out of the bathroom, kitchen or washroom it is replaced by fresh air from the rest of house. If you have a low house you should have a brezzesystem. But if you have a high house or a multilevel house you should use a tube to get a good air extracting channel. It is the same principle with high chimneys. The higher it is all the better it draws.
Installations with stoves can also do create a better indoors climate.
Using a stove can also improve the quality of indoor air through drawing the old air out,
but you most have ventilators for exempel in your windows in the dry
rooms. It doesn´t necessarily have to cost so much to have good
ventilation in your house. ![]()
