You can save money without changing your car by giving up shorter and journeys reducing the number of cold starts. Petrol consumption is much higher than normal in the first 5-6 km and the exhaust is almost unfiltered. If you use an engine preheater you will avoid cold starts.

The way you drive also influences the petrol consumption. If you drive carefully and avoid sudden acceleration you will reduce the petrol consumption.
