HISTORY
In 1967 Carlos was accepted to Art
school in Montevideo. It was then that
he came into contact whit glass and
he became fascinated with this
materials possibilities.
As a result he started "Tallado en
cristal" that same year. After seven years of work in his company, Carlos left Uruguay for Europe.
After several years of living a vagabond life, Carlos settled down in Orrefors. In order to improve himself within the world of glass, Carlos
enrolled in Orrefors Glass School in 1981 and graduated 1983 with
highest honors.
Carlos started "Gullaskruf Glasatelje" in 1984 where he worked as a designer. Carlos created a new company in 1991, "Carlos R. Pebaqué Design AB" Mainly
occupied with glass.
