The PalletMover is installed to the ship-side by means of a terminal-tractor,and is parked to its operating position by the hydraulic slabs, like an ordinary mobile crane

The PalletMover consists of three (3) main parts; the "Arm", the "Tower" and the "Chassi". The mobile version has a fixed arm, while the gantry one is tiltable. The PalletMover is designed for loading/unloading of palletised goods.

The most significant and fundamentally difference compared to a conventional pallet crane, where the batch of pallets is taken the whole way from the hatch to the quayside (or reversed by loading); the PalletMover, however, lifts the batch from the ship-deck up to the outer end of the arm of the PalletMover (or reversed by loading). From this point and further on to the quay-side, the PalletMover is comparable in the way of action, with the airports luggage conveyor system, meaning that the capacity is depending how fast the conveyor-system is loaded.
