My Metro photo gallery

Since as long that I can remember I've had an interest in Metro systems. I don't really know why, but I've been facinated by these kind of systems ever since my first rides on the Stockholm tunnelbana. For those of you who don't know what a Metro system is, maybe the words Subway, Underground, U-bahn or Tunnelbana ring a bell?!

Anyway over the years I've been able to ride quite a few metros in different parts of the world. And I have made a few photos too during these trips. So I thought: Why not open a photo-gallery on the net? Said and done, here it is! I could have done so much more than this, but I have neither the time or the ambition to compete with some of the great work that has been done before, since there's no way I could do anything that good and comprehensive anyway.

For more information on this subject I would recommend these truly excellent sites:

Here are my photos from every Metro-city I've visited, and some information about the system (no guarantees given for the short facts, though. These are just the latest figures I've found). They are ranked according to the length of the system.
