Nordman-Look-a-like
I remember the day like it was yesterday, Februar 1.
1996. It was the contest "Sweden Look-a-like. In the final
there were 10 competitors and I was one of them. I´ve had to do
my best against 9 other "celebrities". Some of them
were Cher, Björk, Rocky, Madonna and so on.
Our mission were to act as the real celebrity. We could dance, sing, cry or whatever we wanted too. The winner and the second got nice prices and the other got "only" the glory, but that is not so bad or?
The jury were Jean-Pierre Barda (Army of lovers), Regina Lund (actor) and Lotta Lewenhaupt (Elle). The conferencier this evening were Jonas Hallberg.
You could here in the speaker : "In second place... BJÖRK". After that were an interwiev with "Björk". And after that :
The winner in this contest Sweden-Look-a-like 1996 is ...
I´m still getting chills on my skin when i´m thinking of that day...
My first thought was : That´s cool. I am happy for him, and then sudden like from open skies: YEAH, I´m the winner.
